Wind Turbine Makes 1,000 Liters of Clean Water a Day in the Desert

A very cool new gadget is being tested in the Abu Dhabi desert is the new Eole Water wind turbine. Eole Water uses a wind turbine to condense water from the air and pumps it into storage tanks for filtration and purification.

A concept has been in place in the Abu Dhabi since October of 2011 and has been able to produce 500-800 liters of clean drinking water. Eole Water says this machine is capable of creating over 1,000 Liters of water with a high powered machine. The machine only needs winds to be 15mph to produce water. With numerous hours invested in body control and 10 years of development, Jetman finally shows off all of his hard-work with some death defying tricks. Pretty cool!!

“The Glass Smart Phone/Tablet is a concept for the future smart phone; edge to edge, and totally transparent.
It has front and rear facing 3D cameras for tracking motion of both the scenery and the user. Together they can create fully tracked augmented reality, and couple with a 3D screen that needs no glasses, everything will look as if it is actually there.

The screen is also totally transparent. All the electronics are held in the tiny multifunctional on/off button, thanks to advances in microscopic electronic components.”

Personally one of my favorite cars, so it’s only right that I show some love and write about the G-Wag. So to the regular eye the exterior of the car doesn’t have to many changes, but the interior has been totally revamped. The new G63 AMP will come with a 544 hp bi-turbo engine. The car will release sometime in August 2012.

The coal lobby thinks “reality” is a world dependent on their dangerous product. Coal-fired power plants kill at least 13,000 people a year by spewing over 386,000 tons of pollutants, including mercury, into the air. Coal is also the most significant driver of carbon emissions, making the industry responsible for global warming that will cause more extreme weather, droughts, famine, crop failures, mass extinction of various species, as well as flooding. Coal is hardly even a source of middle class jobs given efforts by major coal companies to bust their respective unions.- Republic Report
