Jordan Brand is coming out with a new documentary series, which is meant to inspire global love for the game of basketball. The video above is the first video from the installment of the documentary series. It’s a story about a girl from Iraq who loves the game of basketball, but in her country it is wrong for her to love such a sport, especially since she is a woman. Stay tuned for the rest of the documentary series, which a new video will drop each week in the month of July.

The Man With The Iron Fists

Looks like Wu-Tang member RZA is starting off his directing career pretty strong with The Man With The Iron Fists, which stars Russell Crowe, Jamie Chung and Lucy Lui. The film goes back in time to the 19th century feudal China, which tells the story of a blacksmith who must fight to defend himself and his village. Expect this movie in theaters in late October.

World renowned band Sigur Ros has decided to collaborate with filmmaker Alma Har’el for the latest installment of it’s Mystery Film Experiment in support of the band’s newest studio LP, Valtari. Starring a not so usual looking Shia LeBeouf, the very artistic video for the beautiful piano track “Fjogur Piano” addresses the cyclical imprisonment of addiction and sees the actor in a dream like state.

Film director Spike Lee is back with another Spike Lee Joint for the masses. The title of the movie is “Red Hook Summer” and the plot goes as follows. The story follows a young boy from Atlanta who finds himself in Red Hook (a neighborhood in New York’s Brooklyn) to spend the summer with his grandfather, whom he has never met. No exact date on the release of the film, but expect it to hit theaters sometime in August.
