On Sunday, protesters in Cleveland were filmed chanting Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly cut “Alright” during an altercation with police, as FACT points out. You can watch footage below.
As ABC 5 Cleveland reports, attendees of a Black Lives Matter conference at Cleveland State University confronted transit authority police arresting a 14-year-old for allegedly being intoxicated on a bus. After the crowd blocked the street so that the police cruiser couldn’t leave, the police responded by using pepper spray.
The police released a statement saying the 14-year old was treated by an EMS unit and later released to the custody of his mother, according to ABC 5 Cleveland.
