A fancy new iPad is the perfect travel companion for any designer. The richness of the large multi-touch screen makes for some incredibly useful and fun apps that can really drive your creativity. Below we’ll look at 6 different apps spanning several categories that can help designers and creatives.

With our world today being eco-this and green-that, designer Ryan Harc has created a new concept for the first “environmentally friendly” coca-cola. Sure it looks slick and sterile, but by cutting out the “spraying” color process that makes a coke can unique, the recycling process will lose one step, usually needed to remove the toxic paint from said can. In a bus shelter, a billboard showing a man on a hospital bed was installed. An electrocardiogram monitor was incorporated into the billboard so people colud see and hear that had no heartbeat. By pressing the “push here” sign on the man´s chest, people could make the heart beat again and resuscutate the patient.
