By utilizing the relatively new manufacturing methodology known as high frequency (HF) weld production, Nike was able to construct an unique design for its Air Force 1 Pearl Collection’s sixth installment. Also known as the 30th Anniversary Collection (or XXX Anniversary), the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Premium ’08 features a digital camouflage pattern in gray scale, inject intermittently with reflective pixalated blocks. But because of the HF weld, the pattern comes to live and into a 3 dimensional arrangement. Reflective heel and tongue tabs add additional flair to the design. The Nike Air Force 1 Premium ’08 in High-Frequency Digital Camouflage will be available late this summer at select Nike Sportswear retailers worldwide.
