As the bee and bird species decline, the new “Bird City” habitat, Vogelstad, is designed incorporating biodiversity to aid in housing for birds. Dutch designer, Eveline Visser designed this “Bird City” bird house to be hung up on empty spaces between buildings to help birds adapt to swift weather changes and save the species.
Each box opening is specific for the type of bird according to specific factors that help provide a comfortable living space for the birds. Incorporating the Vogelstad, in low- carbon buildings is a step in saving the bird population, and the ecosystem as a whole, Word.
